Umbilical Tag (UT)

The UT tag is designed to be attached to the infant using an umbilical clamp. The tags have a consistent fast beacon to provide accurate location information and contains a low frequency receiver for detecting signals from GuardRFID^® Tag Exciters. UT tags can also be bonded to Mother Tags so that nurses can quickly identify when the infant is given to the correct parent or not.
